The
wine’s land…. 1st
stage :
Roaix Roaix
direction, smallest name "Coasts of the Rhone Village", and which
has 85% of its grounds cultivated for the vine! After having to taste this
wine considered for its quality, climb with the c?ur village towards the only
vestige of the castle built by Vaesc in 16th century, namely the south-eastern
tower. 2nd
stage :
Rasteau
For
all to know wine, visit the Museum of the vine and the vine grower with
Rasteau, so discovering there an impressive collection of old tools (more than
2500) and a “vinothèque” made up of 2000 bottles, of which some are more
than centenaries! Village of vine growers the Top Vaucluse, perched on a
hillock of 200m. Rasteau has a superb Romance church, which dates from 12th
century and which overhangs the village. You will note that the life of the
village is organized around the Place of the Apparent one, with the plays for
children and the trade. Before leaving, do not hesitate to climb the few
meters to reach the top of the village and you will then observe a superb
panoramic sight of “Préalpes”, Laces of Montmirail and Ventoux Mount. 3rd stage : Cairanne
Cairanne
has the characteristic to have the old village side, is surrounded of ramparts
and from where one can observe a splendid sight on the Mont Ventoux and the
hill St Andéol. Close to turn-strong St Roch the vault of the same name is
whose bell-tower arcade was installed on the rampart. A keep of 11th century
is located in top of the hill but underwent many damage. Do not hesitate to
visit the vault Our Lady of the Rosary, whose modern stained glasses were
carried out by the abbot Roy. You will be able to also discover 2 other
vaults: Our Lady of Excesses and Holy Geniest.
The
Castle of Gallifet is worth also the turning for its living room and a
staircase with balusters. But Cairanne is before all a high place of the
Coasts of the Rhone, and its followed sensory course of a pleasant tasting
will say all to you on what you want to know about this wine. NB:

stage : Séguret
At
the time of your return towards Vaison, made a halt, in one of the most
beautiful villages of France: Séguret. You will admire there Laces of
Montmirail and the various vineyards which surrounds it, and you will stroll
in the narrow lanes of the village, with the famous street of the Posterns and
the Fountain of Mascarons. For the in love ones with the inheritance, you will
discover the parish church Our Lady and St Just. All in Séguret offers a
return to the history: the church ST Denis (Xth century), houses old, the
vault Ste Tècle, built by the Penitent white.... Return
to Vaison the Roman. NB:
