the Ventoux’ land…. 1st
stage :
Malaucène Appointment
in Malaucène, also called "Capital of Ventoux", and considered for
its old paper mills. Property of the Saint Sits in 1929, this village
sheltered the residence of summer of the pope Clément V. It marked the town
of its print by building there the church fortress St Michel and St Pierre at
the beginning of 14th century.
You will be able to discover the splendid organ of JJ Polsagues (1537). Put at
bag by the wars of religion, Malaucène preserved of its enclosure
strengthened only some doors as well as the retaining walls on a hillock of
the old castle. The old woman tower of the clock (1482) and her belfry occupy
the center of the village. NB:

stage :
Mont Ventoux The
Ventoux Mount, or "Giant of Provence", culminates with 1912 meters
of altitude. Mediterranean climate with the alpine climate, 950 vegetable
species, more than 100 species of birds, variations in temperature going up to
20 degrees of its base at the top. You will also note strong contrast between
the southern slope which goes down towards the plain from Carpentras, leaving
leisure with stroll and excursions for all the levels of sportsmen and his
northern, abrupt slope with a tight vegetation and a good necessary experiment
to climb it. You will have in his top a unspoilable view on the Alps, the
Mount Aigoual, the mount Lozere, Canigou, and can be even Our Lady of the
Guard in Marseilles! 3rd
stage : Bédoin Bédoin
direction, charming small agricultural village of the Ventoux Mount. This
village has the chance to shelter one of the largest communal forests of
France, and the most varied from Vaucluse with more than 1200 species, and it
extends on 6300 hectares is one the third of the forest cover of the Ventoux
Mount! One also produced there a wine AOC of excellent quality and fruits and
asparaguses. Side inheritance, you will be able to discover many religious
buildings: Our Lady of Moustier, the Madeleine (only building pre-novel of
Vaucluse) and the vault of the Beams with its table of Simon de Châlons of
